Mats Braun, Chair
Mats Braun is the director of the Institute of International Relations Prague - www.iir.cz and associate professor of territorial studies at the Metropolitan University Prague. Within his research, he devotes himself to regional integration, the European Union and global environmental politics. He has published his research both in leading journals on European studies (for instance the Journal of Common Market Studies) and in leading journals on environmental politics (including the journal - Environmental Politics). He is the author of the books Europeanization of Environmental Europe in Central and Eastern Europe (Ashgate/Routledge 2014/2016) and The Politics of Regional Cooperation and the Impact on the European Union - A Study of Nordic Cooperation and the Visegrad Group (Edward Elgar Publishing 2021).

Michal Kolmaš
Michal Kolmaš is an Associate Professor at the Metropolitan University Prague, and the editor-in-chief of the Czech Journal of International Relations (cjir.iir.cz). He specializes in environmental politics and international relations in Asia. Previously, Michal served as a visiting fellow at Ritsumeikan APU and Akita International University in Japan and Umass Boston in the US. His work has been published in the most prestigious IR journals including Global Environmental Politics, The Pacific Review, Cambridge Review of International Affairs, International Relations of the Asia-Pacific and others. His latest authored monograph titled National identity and Japanese revisionism was published by Routledge in 2019. He is the recipient of several grant projects. Most recently he's been the co-investigator of a Czech Science Foundation grant investigating the emotions connected to climate change (2022-2024).
